What is the treatment process?
You will be guided through an extensive consultation and consent process. A numbing cream will be applied and after a period of about 30mins the treatment will begin with you lying down comfortably.
The treatment areas will be thoroughly cleansed and an ultrasound gel will be applied to the treatment areas.
The Ultherapy device is placed against the skin, and an ultrasound viewer will be used throughout to adjust the device to the appropriate settings. Ultrasound energy is then delivered to the targeted areas. You might experience quick, intermittent feelings of heat and tingling during treatment.

Q. Will Ultratherapy be painful? A. Ultherapy can be uncomfortable without pain management; however, with a combination of pain killers, numbing cream, and the pain distraction device, the treatment can be tolerated very well. Advice will be given to you regarding which painkillers are recommended and when at your consultation. On the day of treatment, we will apply numbing cream before treatment which will stay on the skin for approximately 30 minutes, we also provide you with a pain distraction to use during treatment for maximum comfort.
Q. Is Ultherapy suitable for me? A. Ultherapy is a suitable treatment for many individuals. However, the treatment intentions will vary depending on your age and skin condition
Under 30 years Generally not recommended as typically this demographic have sufficient enough levels of collagen and elastin to warrant this treatment unnecessary
30-35 years Use to prevent collagen and elastin levels from becoming depleted with age (prevention) or to enhance the definition of the cheekbones/jaw, this treatment is effective giving the face more structure and definition.
35-45 years To treat mild signs of ageing. This can include subtle sagging on the face or neck.
45-55 years To treat moderate signs of ageing and enhance / improve appearance. Individuals in this age category may also benefit from a combination of treatments for maximum results.
55 years and above For severe sagging, this treatment alone is not likely to be suitable, and a combination treatment will likely be required for ultimate facial rejuvenation.
