What is the treatment process?

Microeedling involves using a SkinPen device with tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing process and promoting collagen production.

You will be guided through an extensive consultation and consent process to ensure you understand the treatment. Numbing cream will be applied and after a period of about 30mins the treatment will begin with you lying down comfortably. A gel-like serum will be applied to your face and the SkinPen will glide across your face in a defined pattern. SkinPen is a bespoke treatment and your doctor or nurse performing the treatment will decide which depth is appropriate for you. They may adjust the SkinPen to different depths as they move across your face according to need. For example areas with scars and uneven texture will require a deeper depth of penetration to cause the micropunctures to induce collagen formation.
